RFP Manager

We are currently recruiting for an RFP Manager who fosters favorable relationships with existing clients, both internal and external, prepare new quotes, meet with in-house project teams, sales team, and other cross functional departments as necessary.  Responsible for managing and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Bids (RFB), Invitations to Bid (ITB), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI) to help secure new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs RFP related duties as directed by the RFP Director.
  • Analyze RFP Documents: Interpret RFPs to identify key requirements, deadlines, and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, finance) to gather necessary information and responses.
  • Develop Proposals: Craft comprehensive and compelling proposals tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Manage Timelines: Ensure all internal reviews, revisions, and approvals are completed before submission deadlines.
  • Communicates with suppliers, answers questions timely and supports adherence to deadlines and provides feedback after each RFP concludes. Reviews feedback prior with the RFP Director.
  • Provides essential support and leadership to the RFP process as directed by the RFP Director.
  • Serves as lead with internal and external teams when deemed necessary by the RFP Director.
  • Serves as back up to the RFP Director when they are out of office or leading other RFP Processes. This will be advised by the RFP Director.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to proposal requirements, including formatting, content, and delivery specifications.
  • Follow-Up: Conduct post-submission follow-up with potential clients to address questions and provide additional information.
  • Analyze Outcomes: Gather feedback from clients to inform continuous improvement in the RFP process.
  • As needed, support client Onboarding initiatives as directed by the COO and CRO.

  6. CRM Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM software
  7. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and practices.
  8. Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges and ambiguities.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A) preferred; five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
